All The FAQs About Porta Potty Rentals

Sometimes you just need the fast facts. Here is everything you need to know about securing a porta potty rental for your next special event or construction project:

How fast can a porta potty unit be set up at my home?

There are many occasions where a porta potty needs to be set up ASAP. Whether you have a plumbing emergency, suffering through an extended power outage or forgot about the bathrooms for your big party, you can depend on a fast delivery of a clean and fully stocked porta potty unit. That means calling for a unit in the morning and having it delivered by lunchtime!

What is the minimum rental period for a porta potty?

Porta potties can be rented for a single day. It might turn out that between delivery and pickup you’ll actually have access to that unit for several days. However, if you’ve locked down a single day rental fee then that is all you’ll be paying. On construction projects, porta potty units can be rented for extended periods of a few weeks to several months. If that rental agreement has to be extended, you just need to call your service rep to make it happen.

Are the porta potties clean?

Every porta potty that is returned goes through a thorough steam cleaning before it is put back into rotation. The units are completely flushed out, wiped down and restocked with new sanitation fluids. You’ll be getting a unit that is as close to brand new as possible.

Where can I put the porta potty?

For a single day rental, you can place your porta potty on any flat surface that can be accessed by the service crews. A driveway is a popular option. If you are renting a unit for an extended contract, then it will need to be place within 25 feet of the street to allow access for the service crews to do their thing.

How many times will the porta potty be cleaned?

During an extend contract, a weekly service call is included in the price. That call will provide for a complete cleaning and restocking of the unit. If it turns out that there is a week of heavy use, you can arrange for a second service call at a nominal fee.

How many porta potties do I need?

That depends on your party list or crew count. For a special event, you’ll want to have at least one unit for every fifty guests. To be compliant with OSHA workplace guidelines, you should rent a single unit per every ten work crewmembers.

How are the odors dealt with?

The detergent water used in a porta potty works as a sanitized and a deodorizer. This helps keep the odors under control for an extended period. Your guests won’t be put off by these clean and comfortable porta potties.

Find The Right Porta Potty For Your Event

There is a lot of planning that goes into hosting an event. The major priority is venue and guest list. If that venue happens to be your backyard or another outdoor area like a beach or park, then you’ll be dependent on good weather. You also need to accommodate for parking. Once you’ve taken care of those items, you get down to the nitty gritty of planning a menu, renting tables and chairs and making sure you’ve got a great DJ. What’s missing from that planning? Probably the most important item on your “to-do” list. That would be arranging for bathrooms. That is a detail often left until the end but can turn out to make or break a special event. After all, everyone will need to go to the bathroom at least once during your party. Will you be ready? You can if you line up a porta potty rental unit.

Everyone is familiar with the basic porta potty. We’ve seen and used these facilities outside of sporting events and concerts. If there is a major event like a state fair or festival, you can count on a row of dozens of porta potties. These units are designed to accommodate a lot of traffic during a single event. Your party might not require dozens of porta potties. Instead, you should think about renting at least one unit per every fifty guests. That will insure that the units won’t become overwhelmed and can stay fresh for the duration of your party.

The basic porta potty rental is perfect for a company picnic or family reunion. It’s a casual way of taking care of business. But what if the event you’re planning is a bit more upscale such as formal wedding reception or anniversary party? That’s when you might pick a VIP porta potty. Think of these as restroom trailers. These units offer up more space than the single porta potty. There is also more ventilation and proper lighting. Along with a private commode, the VIP porta potty can provide running water at a sink, a mirror and vanity. These units are much better suited for folks wearing suits!

Porta potties can be rented for a single day. They can be arranged to be dropped off at your home or venue the day before and picked up the day after. You’ll still only be charged the flat fee for a single day.

Accommodating your guests with special needs won’t be an issue as there are many porta potty units to pick from that are handicapped compliant. Standalone hand washing stations can also be added to your basic porta potty rental unit. Bottom line: all your guests will feel taken care when you pick the right porta potty.

Questions and Answers About Porta Potty Rentals

If you’re planning a special event or starting up a construction project, there is one detail you don’t want to overlook. That would be providing your guests or workers with proper restroom facilities. You might think that you would be saving money by opening up your own home’s bathrooms to your visitors. However, that decision could end up being very costly and embarrassing. What happens if in the middle of the elegant wedding reception you’re hosting your toilet overflows? What if your work crew has to travel by car to the closest bathroom? Those are situations you can easily avoid by securing a porta potty rental. The following are a few common questions and helpful answers to help guide you in your selection.

How many porta potties do I need to rent?

There are two basic occasions that require the need for a porta potty rental: A special event or a work project. With a special event, you should consider a single unit for every 50 people. That should cover all their needs over the course of several hours. As for a work project, a single unit for every 10 crewmembers working an eight-hour day should be sufficient.

How long can I rent a porta potty for?

Construction projects can last anywhere from a couple of weeks to several months. You can arrange a porta potty rental for any length of time. A single day rental is also very common for outdoor receptions, concerts or parties. With that single day rental, the unit might actually be at your site for 48 hours but you’ll only be charged for the one-day rental.

Do the porta potties need to be serviced?

If you’re renting a unit for a one-day event, you won’t need to have the units serviced. They’ll be delivered fully stocked and completely sanitized. With the extended rental contract, a weekly service call is included. During that service call, the unit is flushed out, wiped down and restocked.

What if I don’t want my guests going to a porta potty in their formal wear?

As the host of an elegant event, details matter. That includes the selection of porta potty. Instead of the standard “blue box,” you can upgrade to a VIP trailer. This is like a mobile bathroom complete with vanity, mirror, sink and lightening. These units can be very spacious. They are also sleek looking and sturdy. They will easily blend into your elegant surroundings.

What about the smell?

There is no escaping the fact that even the cleanest of bathrooms will occasionally emit foul odors. The benefit of a porta potty rental is that the fluids used in the commode pack a powerful one-two punch. Those compounds will instantly breakdown the waste while emitting a delicate scent. When it comes to combating odors, a porta potty might be stronger than a public restroom.

Can I get an estimate?

You can’t plan for your party or project without considering all the costs. Call today for an estimate fee for your porta potty rental.

Keep Your Work Crews Happy

Whether you’re building a house from the ground up or just remodeling a kitchen, you want to make sure your workers are happy. A happy crew is a productive crew. This doesn’t mean showing up with baked goods and hugs every morning (although that wouldn’t hurt!). Instead, it means providing your crews with clear instructions, the right materials and respect. That respect can actually come in the form of a secure porta potty rental. By taking care of their bathroom needs, you’re letting that crew know you respect their work and in turn, they’ll respect your project.

Depending on the size of your crew, you might be required to provide a bathroom for them according to state and federal work regulations. The average crew of 10 to 15 workers will be taken care of with a single unit. You don’t have to get “fancy” with the porta potty rental. A single unit with a toilet, disposable seat covers and toilet paper is all you need to be in compliance. Although the majority of construction site porta potty rentals are self-contained units, you can opt for a unit with a sink for hand washing. That might require a hose hookup but it’s an added comfort your work crew will greatly appreciate.

When it comes to porta potty use, construction workers know the drill. They’re very used to these types of accommodations. A porta potty that is delivered to your project site will be completely sanitized and fully stocked. Having easy access to a bathroom keeps your workers at the site as opposed to wandering off to find the closest available bathroom. It also lets them know this is the bathroom for them as opposed to using your home’s bathrooms. There is no reason a crew should wander through your home if they are working on the kitchen.

A construction site porta potty rental is often covered with an extended contract. Unlike a single-day special event rental, your construction porta potty will have to be serviced at least once a week. That service is included in the rental agreement. If additional service is required, a quick call to the dispatch center will take care of all the issue.

Because of the service call, a porta potty unit needs to be place within 25 feet of the curb. In some instances, a unit can be placed on the street or sidewalk. That might require a permit being pulled from the local municipality. Your service representative will know if that permit is needed. They will also be able to help you secure the necessary paperwork.

A porta potty rental should be part of any construction project budget. Once you lock down the rental fee and schedule the drop off, this will be one less detail you’ll have to contend with.

When To Call In The Porta Potty Pros

When “nature calls” will you know where to “answer?” Anyone who attends a special outdoor event knows to scout out the location of the nearest restroom facility. You might not need to use those places but it’s good to have that knowledge. Now, suppose you’re the one hosting that special event. Wouldn’t you want to insure your guests’ comfort? By having a clean porta potty rental unit set up on the parameter of your event, you’ll be taking care of your invitees with very little hassle.

Suppose you’re hosting an event for your company at a beach or park? Maybe you’re in charge of the big family reunion this year. Going to a place that is outside your comfort zone means you really need to arrange for a porta potty rental. You can’t depend that a public restroom will be clean or even open. The key benefit in the design of porta potties are that they are self-contained. In other words, all your need is a flat surface that is accessible by a delivery truck. Once the unit is dropped off, you won’t have to worry about it working properly. The more guests you plan on inviting to your event, the more porta potty units you should consider. One unit per every 50 people is the basic recommended minimum for porta potty rentals.

If the event you’re hosting is a wedding reception, then you shouldn’t be concerned about having a porta potty unit available for your guests. There are many porta potties that are considered VIP trailers. These are the high-level mobile bathrooms used on film locations and by high society. These units are as close as you can get to your own bathroom.

Speaking of your own bathroom that is not the type of restroom you want to offer for guests if you’re throwing your event in your own backyard. Can your bathroom handle the sudden influx of over 50 people? What happens if there is a backup? Now you have to leave your party to find a plunger. Worst-case scenario is you’ll have to bring in an emergency plumber while your guests wait for the clog to get cleared. Talk about ruining your party!

A porta potty can be delivered within 24 hours of placing the order. If you need the unit for a Saturday event, it might be dropped off on Friday and picked up on Monday but you’ll still only be charged for the single day. On the long list of things you have to concern yourself with, making sure your guests have a clean and safe bathroom shouldn’t be an issue. It won’t be if you set up a porta potty rental. Once you make that call, you can focus on the big stuff!

Q: How far in advance do I need to call to get a porta potty for my party?

139412857_74de34999a_zA: We’ve had plenty of customers who have called in a panic on the day of their big party and needed a unit that morning. It’s usually not a problem. We’re happy to provide same day service. The best option is to give us at least 24 hours notice so we can guarantee a deliver time.

Q: Will I have to set up the porta potty when it is delivery?

A: Absolutely not! All of our porta potties are delivered completely clean and stocked with all the toilet paper and detergent in the tanks. They are 100% self-sufficient and good to go the moment they are secure.

Q: Should I put the porta potty in the street?

A: Unless you obtain a special permit, you won’t be able to put a porta potty on the street. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t find a good spot for your unit. If this is for a one day party, we’ll find a nice corner to tuck the unit into. If you’re renting for an extended construction project you’ll need to have the unit place close to the street or driveway where our service crews will have easy access. As long as it is your property you won’t need a permit.

Q: Can I rent a dumpster from you as well?

A: As it happens, we can also provide a roll-off trash container for your event or project. Let us know what you need and we’ll try to accommodate.

Q: I’m worry that the porta potty won’t be in keeping with my wedding reception theme?

A: We have a wide selection of units to pick from. Beyond the standard “blue box” that you might be familiar with, we have top of the line VIP trailer units. These are fully operational bathrooms with vanities, sinks, mirrors and lighting. They are every bit as clean as our standard units but just more spacious and more like a traditional bathroom. Most of the units we rent for special events we never use for construction jobs. You’ll be pleasantly surprised at how brand new your unit looks and feels.

Q: Do I have to have a porta potty for a remodeling crew?

A: Anytime you pull a permit for a building job you’ll know about the OSHA requirements for restroom facilities. Technically, if you have a crew remodeling your kitchen you can let them use your own bathroom and be covered. The question you need to ask is if you would be comfortable with that? Having a porta potty for a work crew gives them quick and easy access to a bathroom without taking them away from the job site.

Q: What is the minimum amount of time I can rent a unit for?

A: We offer porta potty rentals for a single day, a single week, a single month or longer. If you’re renting for a party, the unit will be delivered on the morning of the event and picked up within 48 hours of the end of the rental day. You’ll only be charged for a single day. With weekly rentals, you’ll also be getting one service call for cleaning and restocking.

Q: What happens if the porta potty fills up before the weekly call?

A: At anytime you can call our dispatch center for an additional service call. There will be an extra fee but we have crews standing by to assist with these types of calls.

Q: How many units should I rent for my party?

A: That depends on the amount of guest you expect. What you want to avoid is long lines outside the bathroom. Our customer service representatives will be able to make a qualified recommendation for the amount of units based on your guest list. For a work crew, one unit should be fine for a 10 to 15 man crew.restroom-trailer

Q: Are these units wheelchair accessible?

It is a standalone unit that is completely self-contained. In other words, it need only be dropped off at a location and it is good to go. The next level up for a porta potty rental would be one that can be hooked to a water source (like a hose) and provide a flushable toilet and sink. There are other self contained units with their own storage tank of water for a sink. These would be the VIP trailer porta potties that you actually step up into. Included in these top of the line portable toilets are such amenities as a vanity counter, mirror, private stall and in some cases a shower. Along with the different types of units, there is also a wide selection of colors to pick from. Bottom line: you’ve got a lot of porta potty options to pick from.

Rental Terms

You can rent a porta potty for a single day, a weekend, a week, a month or even longer. For a single event, the unit can be dropped off in the morning and picked up the following day. You’ll only be paying that single day rate. With the long-term rentals we include a service package. At least once a week, you unit will be completely cleaned out, sanitized and restock. It will be just as it was from the beginning of the contract. If you need additional service, that can be provided as well.

Hiring An Attendant

All of the porta potty units you will be renting are designed to be self-sufficient. Once they have been dropped off and secured you can put them into operation. There is no need for a company attendant. However, there are some party planning services that provide the kind of personal who can act as an attendant to insure the unit remains clean after every visit. For the most part, it will be up to your guests to make sure your porta potty stays clean just as you would expect them to do the same in your own bathroom.

Porta Potty Placement

We’ll work with you or your party planner to insure the best placement for your portable toilet. Ideally, this will be a flat surface area with access to a road or driveway. If you are keeping a unit longer than a single day, you’ll need to have it place where the service crews can reach it from the street with their hoses. If the area is agreed on before delivery you won’t have to be there to accept the unit. You also won’t have to be there when the unit is picked up. We strive to take all the hassle out of renting portable toilets.

Decorating The Unit

potty in pinkSometimes a party planner is in charge of decorations for the event. Whatever theme is used for the main area can be carried over to the porta potty. This includes any bunting, balloons, lights or other fun decorations. A great recent example had a couple celebrating their anniversary with a luau theme. They wrapped the porta potty in bamboo and had tiki torches placed outside.

Nighttime Events

If your event will be at night, we can arrange for your porta potty to have battery operated lights. Keep in mind that one our standard units, the roofs are translucent. Any light from the outside will shine inside.

Keeping the Unit Fresh

All of our units are equipped with fragrant air fresheners along with eco-friendly detergents in the tank. You can add to these amenities with your own fresh flowers, scented candles or other fresheners.

The Amount of Units

The general rule of thumb is that you should have one unit for every 50 guests. This has more to do with avoiding lines than volume. Remember you want your guests to be comfortable and waiting in line for the bathroom is nobody’s idea of fun!

When you’re ready to book your porta potty rental, a trained staff of customer service reps will be standing by to take your call. Make sure your party goes off without a hitch by renting a porta potty today.

When you get right down to it, there are two types of parties you can throw: The intimate dinner party and the blow out. The number of dinner party guests is usually limited to the amount of chairs you can fit around your dining room table. As for the blow out party, that is where you send out the massive e-vites and there’s no telling who will show up but a good time is promised by all. Of course, at some point in the night everyone will have to go to the bathroom. Your plumbing can probably handle the dinner party crowd but the blow out group might put too much pressure on your pipes. Why do I need to rent a porta potty for my remodeling crew?

Technically, you don’t have to rent a porta potty for a small crew working on a kitchen remodel. Of course, this would mean opening up your own bathroom for their use. That might work if you’re not going to be home but do you really want the crew walking through your home in search of a bathroom? The alternative would be having them get into their car and drive to the nearest gas station every time they need a bathroom break. That’s going to slow down your project. This is why renting a porta potty for the duration of the work makes the most sense. With a unit that is situated on your driveway your crew will know where to go and will be able to get right back to work. Continue reading

Got Garbage? Carry It Out and Keep Our Parks Clean

There are just so many hours in the day for a National Park Service employee. That’s why a new program is aimed at freeing up their time for more beautification pursuits as opposed to the constant need for trash hauling. The program is called Carry In-Carry Out and it is meant to encourage park visitors to take away whatever they bring into a park even if that means bagging their own garbage.

This plan is up any running along the George Washington Memorial Parkway with is the roadway that stretches out between historic Mount Vernon and Turkey Run Park. Instead of actual trashcans there are signs with information about the new policy and plastic garbage bags. Now guests can bag up their own soda cans, water bottles and picnic leftovers. Good plan, right? On paper it is but getting folks to go along is another story.

Mount Vernon

Too Much Trash For One Park

National Park Service chief groundskeeper Anthony Migliaccio has been witness to a typical day of visitors where a single trash can will overflow with trash while a nearby trash bag dispenser remains fully stocked. Clearly, the message hasn’t gotten out yet but the Park Service is not giving up.

It’s not just common trash that is left behind in the park but other “goodies.” While speaking to a local newspaper, Mr. Migliaccio ticked off a list of trash that included a pair of waterlogged boat shoes, a cooler lid, a ceramic serving dish, a drive shaft and hubcap. He also found an used hazmat suit.

The Porta Potty Peril

Then there are all the unintended consequences that have come along with the program like clogged Porta Potties. Folks are taking those trash bags, filling them up and then attempting to flush them in the many Porta Potty units. That makes servicing the Porta Potties more challenging because those bags have been removed before the sanitizing flush out.

“Dipping trash and dog waste out of Porta Potties is a hazardous activity,” says Mr. Migliaccio.

Overall the Carry In-Carry Out is showing signs of success. Last May

Waiting for the Porta Potty

Mr. Migliaccio and his team collected 22 tons of trash which is actually down five tons from the same month last year before the program started. Five tons of trash is nothing to sneeze at!

To review: If you’re going to a National Park, carry out your own trash. Whatever you do, don’t leave it behind in a Porta Potty. Think of the next user… That could be you!

Porta Potties As Power Packs? Possibly

Have you ever been stuck with a dead cell phone? It’s frustrating to be out and about without the means to plug in and power up. Well, that might all change thanks to some savvy English scientists. Yes, we might soon have the ability to power up our cell phones no matter where we are and that power is within us all. We’re talking about the power or urine to charge a mobile phone and yes, this is a real thing. Could a Porta Potty Power Station be far behind?

This amazing news comes from research conducted by a few truly out of the box thinkers over at the Bristol Robotics Laboratory and the University of West England. They have been able to tap into microbial fuel cells or MFCs using urine as a source of power. How much power? They were able to charge up a Samsung Smartphone with one bathroom break.

Living Batteries

The way that MFCs works is that they transform live bacteria from organic matter into actual electricity. Bacteria cultures are inserted into specially designed ceramic cylinders. Those cultures then become activated when urine passes through. The result is a jolt of electric juice.

“So far the microbial-fuel power stack that we have developed generates enough power to enable SMS messaging, Web browsing and to make a brief phone call,” Dr. Ioannis Ieropoulos recently stated in a press release. “The concept has been tested and it works– it’s now for us to develop and refine the process so that we can develop MFCs to fully charge a battery,” Ieropoulos said.

The immediate use for this kind of technology would be for short charges under extreme conditions. As part of a hiker’s backpack or camper’s gear these kinds of emergency batteries make sense. If you want to go off the grid and live without electricity you could still have a phone thanks to the unlimited supply of power you’ll be supplying. It goes without saying that this is also a totally eco-friendly fuel source if you can just get away from the “ick factor.”

Porta Potty Power Stations

How could this be turned into a broader practical application? That’s where the power of Porta Potties comes into play. Suppose you set up these batteries within a newly designed Porta Potty unit? The energy generated from music lovers at a single outdoor concert could provide enough electricity to keep a charging station up and running. It also provides wonderful motivation for staying hydrated. Want to make a call? Have a drink of water first!

Why Do I Need To Rent A Porta Potty?

The short answer to the question, “Why do I need to rent a porta potty?” is “comfort.” Not yours but those of the people you’re inviting on your property or for a special event. Consider the following scenarios:

A Remodeling Job

ann-arbor-porta-potty-rentalIf you’re bringing in a crew to remodel a kitchen, add a bathroom or build a patio deck then you’ll need to be prepared for some disruption to your daily routine. You don’t need to add to that by having a work crew clomping through your home in search of an open bathroom. When you rent a porta potty for your work crew you’ll be telling them exactly where the restroom is. They’ll all be used to this idea and won’t have a problem. The other alternative is to have them leave the job site every time that have to use the bathroom. That’s going to slow things down way too much.

This will bring the party to a screeching halt as you walk through the crowds with a plunger. And if that doesn’t work, you’ve got to call an emergency plumber. That’s going to cost you big bucks. As you do a little research into porta potty rentals you’ll find them to be a very affordable option that provides plenty of peace of mind. There will never be a clog wit ha porta potty. That’s priceless!

You Won’t Have To Do Any Set Up

When you order a porta potty unit the work will be done for you. That includes setting up the unit at spot on your property that works best for your event. Those same service personal who will be dropping off the unit will see to it that your porta potty is completely stocked with tissue and hand sanitizer. There won’t be any need for you to run around with rolls of toilet paper. Between organizing the guest list, working with the caterer and getting your home ready, you’ve already got enough on your plate planning the event. Take the issue of bathrooms off your “to-do” list by renting a porta potty unit.

You’ll Be Keeping It Fresh

Despite your past experiences with outdoor concert porta potties, the unit you’ll be renting is going to be 100% sanitized. Thanks to the detergents we use in our units, the odors you would expect to find in a neglected porta potty rental won’t be happening. In between “visits” your guests won’t be exposed to any extreme nastiness. This won’t be the case with your indoor toilet that has no ventilation and might be backing up from a clog.

You Can Have Fun

Just because you’re renting a porta potty for your party doesn’t mean you can’t decorate the unit. In fact, whatever theme you have going for your event can be carried over to the porta potty. Have fun with the decorating. Add some flowers, scented candles, reading material and anything else you want to spruce up your porta potty. Play your cards right and your porta potty will be the talk of the party.

You Won’t Have To Do Any Clean Up

When your even it over, the service techs will be arriving the next morning to remove the unit. You won’t have to lift a finger. You also won’t have to do any cleaning.

Add it all up and it’s clear that renting a porta potty for your next big event is the only way to go.

Porta Potty Rentals: All You Need to Know

If there is one question that is always asked at a big party or outdoor event it is, “Where is the bathroom?”  As the host for this upcoming event you want to make sure your guests are taken care. This is why the proper placement of a porta potty rental unit on your property will let them know where they can “go” without even asking. Speaking of questions, you might have some more regarding porta potty rentals. See if these FAQs cover the bases:

How many porta potty units should I rent for my party?

What you need to know is how long you’re planning your party for and how many people you’re expecting. A good rule of thumb to follow is one unit per every 50 people. This way you should be able to avoid lines and make sure everyone is taken care of. When you call to set up your rental, let the staff member know what you’re planning and they’ll also be able to advise you towards the right amount of rentals.

Can you provide porta potty rentals for someone in a wheelchair?

Absolutely. We have special porta potty units that are ADA compliant. This concludes handrails, a spacious layout inside the unit and a non-slip floor. All of our units are safety rated.

Will we need an attendant?

Our units are meant to stand alone and work without any help. Once our service technicians have properly secured the unit it will be good to go. If for any reason there is a problem, we can respond.

How often is the porta potty cleaned out?

Typically, if this is a one day porta potty rental, you won’t need service. The unit will be dropped off at the designated spot and picked up the next day. However, if you are keeping the unit for an extended period of time, we can arrange a service call at least once a week. That is all you’ll need and it’s perfect if you’re renting for a construction or remodeling job around your home. If for any reason there is need for an emergency service, we have technicians standing by 24/7 to make sure all your needs are met.

Can we decorate our porta potty?

Of course. We have several styles and designs of units from the classic “blue booth” to some very high-end trailers. There have been many happy customers who get a little cheeky with their rentals. One couple set up a red carpet and velvet ropes leading up to the door of their unit. Another adorned their porta potty with lace and flowers. There have even been some party planners who put up a tent and created a kind of lounge for the rest room area. It’s all good and only limited by your imagination and decorating skills!

What about the smell?

When you rent one of our modern units you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the aroma. Each unit is delivered completely sanitized with fresh soap and water. The deodorizer tablets we use keep the unit smelling fresh after every use. You’re encouraged to add any other touches like fresh flowers or scented candles.

Will these units have running water?

There are two options with that regard. If there is access to a water hook-up we can provide a unit that will have running water in the sink and for flushing. However, most of our porta potty rentals are non-flushing units that work perfectly fine for a large number of guests.

How long can I keep the unit?

You can keep your porta potty unit as long as you need. Just make sure you tell your sales agent the length of time you want to have the unit for. If you need to extend that time or cut is short, that can be arranged as well. Our delivery technicians are never far away.

How much will this cost?

You’ll find that we offer extremely competitive rates. A lot depends on the size of the units you want to rent and the amount. We’re happy to work with your budget to make sure your needs are met. You can call today to get an instant quote.

Where can I place the porta potty?

If you have a flat piece of land that we can back our trailer up to then that’s where we can place the unit. Many folks who are throwing a party at their homes use their driveways as the perfect spot for the porta potty. However, we can drive onto fields, beaches, parking lots and any other area with truck access. As we mentioned, not every unit needs a water or electric hook up.

How soon can I get a unit delivered?

It depends on our current bookings, but we always have porta potties that are ready to go. You might be able to have same day service. Not only is this perfect for a party with more guests showing up but in those rare occasions when you might have a plumbing emergency where you could be without water for several days. Instead of going out to the nearest gas station, rent a unit for your comfort.

Tips for Decorating Your Porta Potty

The facts are these: If you’re having a special outdoor event then the best option to keep your guests comfortable and your home plumbing free of clogs is to rent a Porta Potty. Yes, there are some folks who don’t care what kind of “tornado” they create in a Porta Potty but that wouldn’t be the case with your invited guests?

Keep in mind that the Porta Potty you’ll be renting will be delivered to your home completely sanitized and stocked with soap and tissue. They’ll also smell pretty sweet. Trust us. Sponsoring a Porta Potty

When it comes to government, if there is one thing that both sides can agree on it is that nothing every seems to get done. That holds true on the national, state and local levels. However, there should be some things that are no-brainers when it comes to government action. Top of the list would be to provide Porta Potties for a public event. However, over in Rockville, Connecticut the local town council got into a dust up over Porta Potty rentals for their annual National Night Out celebration. This is an event that many small towns across the country use to encourage locals to come out and enjoy all the benefits of that town and support their local police organizations. Naturally, this will mean more crowds pouring into Main Streets which means the need for proper facilities. In the Vernon Town Council, putting together the plans for their Night Out is where the trouble started.

A Banner for Every Porta Potty

Apparently, there are a couple of festivals happening this summer in this area and they all need Porta Potty rentals. However, when the vote came up for appropriating funds for the Night Out, some council members balked. According to one member, “They did not feel it was relevant.” Big mistake. With nowhere else to turn, council members have been reaching out to the local business community to sponsor a Porta Potty. In exchange for the rental fees, a banner will be put on the portable toilet declaring “This Porta Potty Was Provided By (Insert Company Name). It appears that many businesses are lining up to get their name on a Porta Potty rental and that’s a good thing. Think of this as “Adopting a Highway” but instead of a highway it’s a toilet. When it comes to promoting customer service you can’t do any better than providing a restroom. Those sponsorships are sure to be rewarded!
